The module is ready to use. Only a USB cable and the keys have to be added. A factory layout is pre-programmed into the chip but can be overwritten.

KW28-MOD replaces KW24-8-MOD and KW24-8M-MOD. All functions of the two old modules can be covered by KW28-MOD. The mechanical dimensions are identical but the positions of the connections have moved.
